Our Commitment
We aim to ensure that our website is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  If for any reason this service will be disrupted, we will notify users in advance via our Home Page.  Details of scheduled maintenance can also be found below.

Please remember, there are other factors that could also affect the availability of our website:

• Our Internet Service Provider (ISP)
• Our hardware and software

Maintenance
We currently have no planned maintenance work scheduled.

Availability
Availability is defined as the continual ability to "see" the Council's home page utilising the same method and equipment that a member of the public would use once the request reached the networking hardware under the Council's control. A check occurs every ten minutes. Any downtime recorded will be in discrete ten minute chunks. The Council's own target for this is to make the site "available" to the public at least 97.8% of the time.

The current 2007/08 performance data is as follows -

• Quarter 1 (April - June): 96.90%
• Quarter 2 (July - September): 92.49%
• Quarter 3 (October - December): 95.48%
• Quarter 4 (January - March): -
