Project Advisors and Young Verifiers
Intresting in becoming a Young Verifier?What is a Young Verifier? If you choose to become a young verifier you will be part of the government’s initiative called ‘You’re Welcome’ is aims to make health services young people (11-19) friendly. Health services include health centres, clinics, doctors surgeries, and other services like Health Wize and TIC TAC. |

What will I be asked to do?
All health services will have to ‘You’re Welcome’ by 2020. This means that they have completed the toolkit which services have to complete to show how they are young person friendly, had a verification visit or inspection and been awarded the ‘You’re Welcome’ status and given a plaque to display.
As a young verifier will be part of much of this process as you can including choosing which services should be selected to become ‘You’re Welcome’, assessing toolkits which have been completed by services to judge their evidence and probably the most exciting part of the process, the verification visit, where you can see for yourself whether or not a service has met the requirements to be ‘You’re Welcome’. What is a Project Advisor
Project Advisors will have two roles having your say on improving the Health Wize Torbay Shop for young people and having involvement in the design and re branding of sexual health informtaion for young people.
