The Transport Team

The Children’s Services Transport Team are:
Children’s Services Transport Team Manager – 01803 208240. Has overall responsibility for the Transport Team. Specific duties include implementing the School Transport Policy, organising mainstream and exceptional transport, preparing cases for the Senior Officers Panel and the Appeals Panel, Escort recruitment and ICT development.
Children’s Services Transport Officer - 01803 208242. Specific duties include managing the design of the taxi network, organising Special School/PRU transport, the deployment of Escorts, and Escort HR administration
Children’s Services Transport Officer – 01803 207685. Specific duties include managing the taxi network, managing the tendering of new routes and overseeing Safeguarding practices including CRB checks for drivers and managing the list of approved operators.
Children’s Services Transport Officer – 01803 207688. Specific duties include managing the payment and ticketing for all travel passes, including the capture of student photos, post 16 entitlement, lead for partnership working with Stagecoach, point of contact for parents/schools regarding bus travel issues and managing the promotion/marketing of the service that the team provides.
Children’s Services Transport Officer - 01803 207684. Specific duties include arranging Children’s Social Care transport, managing in-house vehicle and operator/driver issues/complaints, maintaining the transport equipment inventory and provide appropriate transport arrangements for clients using wheelchairs.
Children’s Services Transport Officer – 01803 207681. Specific duties include arranging Children’s Social Care and Adult Learning Disability transport and allocating Escorts to routes.
Children’s Services Transport Team Assistant – 01803 207682. Specific duties include providing overall admin support to the team and the processing of orders and invoices on the financial system.
