A service aimed to help families with children up to the age of 5 years, supporting parents who may be overwhelmed by stress and giving help in raising the confidence and abilities to care for their children.
We also have a charity shop specialising in good quality children’s clothes, toys and books.
Our Aims
- To offer support, friendship and practical help to families at home with at least one child under 5 years.
- To support parents who feel exhausted and overwhelmed by the stress of family life with under 5's and provide a breathing space when they most need it.
- To help lonely or isolated parents, families with twins, multiple births or several pre-school children, families where there is ill health or disability/special needs, mums with post natal depression and families who are new to Torbay.
- To raise parents' confidence in their ability to cope and care for their children.
How can I be involved?
By becoming a home-visiting volunteer or by joining the management committee.
