Bikers in Torbay and South Devon have become the human face of a new safety campaign aimed at reducing motorcycle casualties on roads in the area.
Torbay Council and Devon County Council have launched a joint campaign linked to the Department for Transport's national "Think Bike Think Biker" publicity drive.
Research has shown that drivers are more likely to notice motorcyclists on the roads if they personally know a biker.
The campaign in Torbay and Devon features local bikers, reminding road users that there is a real person behind the motorcycle helmet.
Road safety officers recently approached bikers attending the ever-popular BMAD Bike Nights on Paignton seafront to enlist their support.
Several bikers covering a wide age range were pleased to allow their photos to be used to help promote the campaign.
