A bulky household waste collection service is a collection service for larger household items that need to be disposed of. Types of waste collected include beds, wardrobes, washing machines, fridges, freezers, TVs, tables etc.
If your furniture or item is of good quality first contact 
, to see if your item would be of use to them. They collect good quality used furniture and/or electrical goods to refurbish for low income families to benefit from. They collect from inside your home and usually for free.

They collect from inside your home and usually for free. If your items are unsuitable for re-use, you can take them to the Household Waste Recycling Centre for disposal. If this is not possible then TOR2 provide collection service to collect bulky household waste items from outside your home. The bulky waste collection service is by arrangement only.

Mirrors on wardrobe doors/wall hanging mirrors (must be wrapped in newspaper and taped down to prevent shattering when crushed).

Collection Days and Times
Bulky item collections are made between 8am - 6pm as follows:
- Torquay - Mondays and Thursdays
- Paignton / Brixham - Tuesdays and Fridays
Collections that consist of just garden waste can only be arranged for collection on a Wednesday. For more details on the garden waste collection services visit the Garden Waste page.
About Your Collection
Items for collection should be left outside the property and preferably within the boundary of the property in a safe area. Staff are not permitted to enter the property to remove items for collection as they are not insured to enter dwellings.
Only items that have been specifically pre-arranged for collection will be taken for disposal. If any additional items are required to be disposed of as part of this collection, arrangements must be made with us prior to the driver arriving for collection.
