Roadworks (Temporary Traffic Orders)

Torbay Council co-ordinates street works to avoid conflict of major schemes and works using traffic control. We licence people and contractors to work on the highway and ensure that people / contractors that do, are working safely and in accordance with legislation. We also maintain a street works register of these licences.

Bulletins

To help you plan your journey in Torbay with greater ease we have compiled a weekly roadworks bulletin (see Related Documents) which states all pre-planned roadwork's by utility companies. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience these works may cause you.

Streetworks Register

You can now search for roadworks using the online Streetworks Register. opens in a new window Search for roadworks on your street and see when they start, end and what impact they will have on traffic in that area.
Applications for temporary prohibition of traffic must be received at least 4 weeks before the anticipated start date.
