Torbay Council Highways Consultation

Dear Residents,

Access issues: Mount Pleasant Road, Elkins Hill, Garlic Rea, North View Road, Brixham

Following comments made to our department by the emergency services, regarding a number of access issues they have experienced in the above roads, the Council are considering restrictions in pinch point areas along these roads.

The Council are aware of the affect any such restrictions will have on the existing parking in the area, however the concerns of the emergency services regarding vehicle access, as well as the effect for general access by refuse and delivery vehicles in these areas, must be considered.

As such, there are plans and a questionnaire regarding these proposed changes available to view and fill out at the Brixham Town Council offices. We would be grateful if all residents or affected parties could fill in and return completed questionnaires either to Brixham Town Council offices or to email to assist us in determining the level of support for this proposal.

Highways or Brixham Town Council will not respond to the questionnaires, however Highways will collate the information to assess their options.
