It is with a heavy heart that a decision has been made between the Council and the event organiser that the predicted weather for tomorrow will mean the screen can not be erected and therefore we have to cancel the outdoor cinema.
The problem is not the rain but the expected gusts of wind in excess of the tolerance of a maximum of 25mph.
Having learnt our lesson from the very late cancellation of the Furzeham Green event 2 weeks ago we wanted to ensure we give the public and Brixham Cricket Club, staff and caterers plenty of notice. This event will be rescheduled and full details will be advertised in the usual places.
